Making a Purchase

Browse the Paintings within any gallery featured on the front page by clicking on any of the images. For any images that you are interested in - click on the thumbnail for more information. The Paintings detail page will provide more information on that painting and the pricing information. Some paintings are marked as 'price on Application' - For these paintings you are invited to request a price or make an offer on the painting from the Artist via email. Other paintings may provide a price for the painting unframed as well as a price for various framed options. For each option there is a Price followed by an 'add to cart' button. Clicking on the 'Add to cart Button' will add this item to your cart. On adding any item to cart you will be taken to view all items in your cart and given the option to continue shopping, update your cart or checkout. When you have finished shopping and are ready to pay you should click the checkout button for your preferred Payment option.

Paying by Paypal and Your Credit Card Security

All Credit Card Information is taken by Paypal. Paypal Servers are totally secure and use the highest level of encryption to secure your personal information. At no time is your personal information stored on our servers or paypals servers as plain text.
In rare circumstances, it is possible that two individuals could purchase the same painting at the same time. Paul Smith Paintings are all one-of-a-kind originals. In instances where two orders have been placed by different individuals for the same painting, the first (date time stamped) order will be accepted and the second order refunded.
In any case where orders are not able to be fulfilled, all monies will be returned to customer in full.

Purchasing by Cheque

Gallery Paul Smith does allow the user to purchase online but also offers the ability for individuals to pay by cheque. If you are interested in a particular painting and wish to make a purchase by cheque please contact Paul Smith using the form on the contact us page giving your contact information. Paul Smith will mark that painting as 'underoffer' until such time as your cheque arrives when that painting will be marked as 'sold'. Failure for you to make payment by cheque within 10 working days will entitle Paul Smith to Re classify that painting as 'available for sale'. In rare circumstances, a painting that seems to be available for purchase, might have already been purchased by credit card before Paul Smith is notified of your request to 'reserve' the painting. In circumstances where we are unable to fulfill an order, your cheque will be returned to you uncashed.

Confirmation of order and Concluding the Sale Agreement

Upon successful checkout you will recieve a receipt from paypal telling you the transaction details. The paypal email receipt will simply confirm that we have received your order and details of payment.

The agreement to sell a painting to you by us is confirmed to you when we (Gallery Paul Smith) contact you either by email or phone to confirm that we have accepted your payment and will ship the product. In rare circumstances where we may be unable to fulfill an order, your payment will be refunded in full.

Transaction Currency

All Transactions are carried out in Sterling - British Pounds (GBP), regardless of where in the world you are making the payment from. In the Paypal checkout process, paypal will convert this amount to your local currency.

Tax

Paul Smith Marketing Ltd is VAT Registered. All our prices are fully inclusive of VAT (sales tax). There will be no additions to the advertised price of our products for VAT or other taxes. The price you see is the price you pay. Please note we are required by law to collect VAT regardless of where in the world you are when placing your order.

Delivery Costs

All of our prices are inclusive of worldwide delivery , shipping and insurance charges.In the UK we can arrange to deliver at a time of your choice including evenings and weekends.

Delivery & Shipping Information

Upon successful payment, we will contact you via email to notify you of delivery arrangements. All paintings including a frame or without are securely packed in a wooden box for maximum protection and shipped fully insured.

Returns Policy and Cancellation Rights

You have the Right to Cancel within 7 days of placing your order. In these instances you should notify Paul Smith via email at the earliest opportunity and within 7 days of placing an order. You can then review your purchase for up to 30 days,during which time we will accept its return for a full refund if you have changed your mind. Please note that to take advantage of this return policy the painting must be returned in the oiginal packaging.

Remittance Terms

No Paintings will be despatched until paid for in full. We will contact you directly to arrange delivery.
